Baked Apples with Dragons Droppings

You’ll Need:

# 4 cooking apples, medium size
# raisins for decoration
# whipped cream
# demerara sugar
# 4 tbsps. water
# 1oz.(25g) butter

Procedures : # Pre-heat the oven to 350F, Gas mark 4, 180C
# Wipe and core the apples then peel off the top third of the skin
# Arrange the apples in an ovenproof dish and add the water around them
# Fill the apple cavities with demerara sugar then add a knob of butter on top
# Place the dish in the pre-heated oven and cook for about 35-40 minutes or until apples are soft
# Serve apples topped with whipped cream and a sprinkling of currant
